Q. how to get a DVD reserved for pickup and checkout

For general/personal use, DVDs circulate on a first come first serve basis. Media is located on the second floor of Boatwright in rolling stacks, organized in call number order. Just come retrieve the item and we can check it out to you at the Information & Assistance Desk or you can use the self-check machine on the first floor near the Lakeside entrance.

To place a hold on an item that is currently checked out, find the item in OneSearch. From the item record, find the “Get It” section and click the “Place a hold or pick-up request” link.
