Boatwright Memorial Library and Parsons Music Library are open for use by members of the Richmond area community and non-students, especially to provide access to members of the general public who cannot find the specialized material they need elsewhere.

Access to computers and electronic access is limited, due to university network security concerns and to heavy student use of library computers.  However, computer guest accounts for library research needs can be requested at the library's main service desk. Access to U.S. government information in any format is available for the general public.
